One can only hope that wine stability on the M1 increases. The games kinda work, but they crash a lot. The trick was directing it to a different installation place than the Applications folder. Yea, I got both Anno 14 kinda working on an M1 Mac. The support for it is growing of course with every new update of Mac OS (Rosetta) and with the new Engines we add (we are depenedent on Wine developers for that). You need to download Porting Kit 4 ( Porting Kit 3 is not maintained anymore and less and less ports will be visible there.Īlso remember that the support of m1 Apple silicon is much less then the Intel Based Macs. You probably are using Porting Kit 3 in that situation. When I tried to install a Steam Wrapper and a couple of the games based on steam it says there is no engine available to install port. Since that time I have upgraded to an M1 MacBook Air and have troubles with installation. I used this app a few months ago and had Steam running perfectly.
